JOB DETAILS:

Job Title: Lab Technician

Location: Dodge City, KS

Duration:3 Months Contract to Hire

Guaranteed Hours: 40

Shift: 3rd shift: 12 am to 8 am Monday - Friday

Pay: $20

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Perform routine analytical testing procedures accurately and promptly
• Use analytical results and feedback to determine test equipment calibration needs and make necessary adjustments
• Record and compile test results; prepare graphs, charts, and reports as required by management
• Communicate results to internal/external customers via Certificates of Analysis (COAs), verbal updates, or written documentation
• Provide independent oversight of lab processes, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies
• Communicate deviations from standards to Lab Technicians and management
• Schedule and submit samples to external laboratories for testing
• Receive and document results from external laboratories
• Provide ongoing training and suggest process improvements for Lab Technicians on evening shifts
• Conduct routine quality control testing and maintain accurate QA records
• Maintain laboratory in a safe, clean, and sanitary condition
• Actively participate in quality, food safety, and workplace safety programs
• Support the Quality, Food Safety, and Safety (QFS) Manager
• Monitor inventory levels of testing supplies
• Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the laboratory environment
