We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team at our Clinton, Maryland location. In this role, you will have the opportunity to perform medical disability exams, also known as compensation and pension exams, for our esteemed Veterans.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough medical disability exams, focusing on taking patient histories and performing physical examinations to evaluate the degree of disability. These exams primarily involve the review of historical evidence and patient charts, rather than diagnosis and treatment.
You will not be involved in any procedures or prescribing medications. While most exams are related to musculoskeletal issues, they can encompass any body system. Potential future opportunities to work from home.
Experience:
Prior experience in orthopedics or primary care is preferred, as it will provide a strong foundation for this role. However, we are committed to training and supporting our team members, so required training will be provided to enable you to perform these exams effectively.
Salary & Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary ranging from $105,000 to $125,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to your salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off (PTO), holidays, health insurance, 401k, and more. We contribute 90% of your health care contributions for most plans.
